This episode is an interview wtih Don Jordan, co-author of White Cargo: The Forgotten History of Britain's White Slaves in America, and a second interview with Dr Nini Rodgers Honorary Senior Research Fellow in History at Queens University Belfast. We talked about the Irish indentured servants in Barbados and the West Indies in the 17th century and whether or not their status could accurately be described as slavery.
