0 # Stuart 2010-08-19 13:27 You are correct, it isn't a reference to flowers. There are various versions of the site name, Béal na mBláth being the most common. It's also known as Béal Átha na Bláiche.

The most common translation is mouth of the ford or mouth of the ravine which is appropriate if you visit the area.
