Katharine Tynan

Katharine Tynan was a prolific writer and major figure in Irish Literary circles.

Born in 1859, in Clondalkin near Dublin, Katharine wrote more than 100 novels, several anthologies of poetry and numerous newspaper articles to her credit.

A significant figure in Irish literary circles, Katharine was linked with Gerard Manly Hopkins, William Butler Yeats and Francis Ledwidge.

Katharine Tynan died in 1931 in London.
